In the opening scene of the movie "Forrest Gump" Forrest said to the woman on the bench, "My mom always said, life was like __________________________________________________________________________." Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Why?

Forrest said, “Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.” I agree with Forrest. (Actually it was said by his mother.) Because I never know when I would die or success. People don’t realize it until they are actually on their own. One day, Forrest listened to Jenny’s advice, and then he just ran and ran. Since he tried to run because of Jenny, he noticed that he was a good runner. That made him become an American football player. Another day, Benjamin, who is Forrest’s friend, told him to be a shrimper together and he just listened to his friend. That also made Forrest a billionaire. I think the reason that he could success is because he lived like a wind. He did n’t want many things. He just decided his destiny for friends. I really agree with his view of life!

I agree this statment. "Life was like a box of chocolates. you never know what you`re gonna get." reason for choosing this statement is that because life is random. I don't know who appears in front of me. I don't know what happen to me. I never know all the things. And I don`t know when do I success. Maybe I will become chef, engeneer or professor. haha...And Accident may appeared to our like sewolferry accident. So I agree this statement.("life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you`re gonna get.") . We may choose good things or bedthings. But, Don't worry about that. If you choose bedthings, you can choose goodthings another days. This is why do i agree this statement.

I don't know what will happen to me. it will be sad things, happy things, joy things, angry things etc...
and we have many ability, so we can get a variety jobs like forrest.
life will not know and many chance to us. so if we choose wrong way, we have many chance to change wrong way.
so i agree with forrest view of life.

Life is like a box of chocolates? I don't agree with this statement. We can predict tomorrow will be sunny day. It just matters with precision of forecast. Like this, We can approximately predict what would happen next day. But this needs concentration about everything. In other words, We can predict what will happen, if we concentrate on everything.

I agree with him. Because we can't predict what will happen tomorrow. Life of each of the people is the different, because life is constantly change.
For example, when I was young I dreamed a president, but now I want to be a engineer. Other people change their dreams like me. Therfore life is not predictable. And life is not determined by something.
That's the reason why life is very precious and important.

I agree with this statement "Life is like a box of chocolate. You never know what you're gonna get". I can state this statement again in my way. That's "We don't know nothing that will happen to our future. Listening this statement, And I thought that I have to live harder than now. Because according to that statement, we can't expect anything. And we can be hurted by car accident and we can die or can't walk. While there could good thing. For example, we don't know things which will happen to us. But those things could nice things to us. So I think life is like a lotto. Balls in a lotto is similar as chocolate in a box.
So in my opinion, I agree with this statement 'Life is like a box of chocolate'.

The reason is whoever don't know a future. I can't predict tomorrow what's happening in my life. I don't know what happen to me. Life is always changing. A famous fortune-teller also don’t know his life. So we have to go through each life.
We can’t choose our future. But we can choose our present. The present is a way of choosing good future. So we must well being our life.

An example of that, 이중재 is great soccer player when he was in high school. But he got injured when he was in university. He lived to do only soccer for 20 years. He worried his life, however he studied judicial examination hard. so, he passed that in two years. Finally, he became lawyer, he lived widely different life.
For this reason, I agree with this opinion.

Go live your own life, you know life would be too boring.

I disagree with his sentence. Life is wheel of same events. Of course, in terms of detail life may be a box of chocolates. But in terms of whole, I think, life is boring, tiring and same events. Events of doing by somebody are repeated by other somebody. Also tomorrow events will be predicted so far as.
Therefore I disagree Forrest's sentence.

It is always sweet chocolate whatever I choose.
If it is always sweet chocolate, I don't care what i choose.

Forrest said, "Life was like a box of chocolates. you never know what you`re gonna get." I agree this statement. We can’t even see the outline of the future. We don’t know the taste of chocolate what we chose until we taste it. Similarly, We don’t know our future until the future comes ahead of us. Thus we have to try and not to give up. We meet with green light and red light in every moment. We have to just choose, taste and feel. If we chose a bitter taste, we can choose others in the box. you must not give up because of a bitter taste that you chose. Similarly, you must not proud of ability because of a sweet taste that you chose. every moment, like a chocolate, is not long. Thus we have to do our best in every moment. Then we will get a sweet life.

Hello, Richard. I watched the very good movie which was called " Forrest Gump ". In the movie, Forrest said that " My mom always said that " life was like a box of chocolates". At first, I don't know what he said. But after I had deep thinking, I understand that means. It means that everyone doesn't know their life. And I agree this statement. You know who will be next president in Korea? Like this, we don't know how life is flowed. Though many people strive to make try to change their own life for their mind, the change of their life not always good direction. See around your life. Many people try to make good life. However, the number of successful life is less than the number of person who try to do. Shortly, life was like a chocolate box. Everyone has option to select chocolate. However Everyone don't know which chocolate give better sweet. For this reason, I agree that life was like a chocolate box

Because if my future life is arranged one way, I will be tired of living in the future because of feeling bored. I can feel excited of life when I make my own way of life.
